Surrogacy

Surrogacy is an arrangement where a female agrees to bear a child for another couple where the female partner’s womb (uterus) cannot be used for the same. It is usually indicated for females where uterus has been removed or they don’t have a functional uterus, significant uterine abnormalities or uterine lining scarring (ashermann’s ), significant medical condition which makes carrying a pregnancy risky for the woman, recurrent pregnancy loss where embryonic  factors are ruled out.
