Egg freezing is a method which allows a women to cryopreserve her eggs so that they can be utilised in future. As the quality of the egg declines as women ages, this method gives the woman an option to conceive or get pregnant later. It is especially useful for working women and for those who are undergoing any prolonged medical treatment or cancer patients  and cannot plan a pregnancy currently.  It takes around 12-14 days to stimulate the woman and form eggs and to extract them under anaesthesia transvaginally is just around 10-15 minutes procedure. During this entire process, the woman can easily carry on her routine activities and her work as well. The harvested eggs are then frozen by a method called vitrification and can be utilised later by the female to become pregnant.
