Surrogacy is an arrangement where a female agrees to bear a child for another couple where the female partner’s womb (uterus) cannot be used for the same.

Donor embryo is formed by a donor egg and a donor sperm, which are fertilized to form a donor embryo and are then transferred into the recipient’s uterus only.

Donor sperm insemination is considered in those couple where the male partner has very low or no sperm (even on TESA, TESE), ejaculatory dysfunction, severe male factor infertility (previous fertilization failure)..

An egg from a fertile woman is donated to an infertile woman to be used in ART procedure by IVF. The woman receiving the egg (recipient) will not be the genetic mother but will be the birth mother on record.
